MIGUEL FAUS
(Barcelona, 1992)

I'm a writer/director from Barcelona, living in London. I recently graduated from an MA Filmmaking at the London Film School, where I wrote and directed the short films The Death of Don Quixote, which won the Meliès d'Argent at the 51st Sitges International Film Festival, and my graduation project, Calladita, currently in post-production.

In 2014 I started writing about cinema for Jot Down Magazine and Miradas de Cine, were I have published lengthy interviews with several acclaimed directors: Pawel Pawlikowski, Olivier Assayas, Albert Serra, Terence Davies, Whit Stillman, Pedro Costa, Jaime Rosales, Isaki Lacuesta, Oliver Laxe, and others.

In 2015 I graduated from a Bachelor in Business Administration at ESADE, and completed the first half of a Bachelor in Humanities at University Pompeu Fabra. After college I worked as a copywriter in several offices of a Spanish advertising agency, SCPF, for clients like BMW, IKEA and San Miguel.
