
MIGUEL FAUS
(Barcelona, 1992)
Writer/Director from Barcelona, living in London.
His first feature film, Calladita, is the first European movie ever funded by NFTs, after a successful funding campaign led by Faus himself. The film is currently in post-production and stars Paula Grimaldo, Ariadna Gil, Luis Bermejo and Pol Hermoso.
He graduated with distinction from an MA Filmmaking at the London Film School, where he wrote and directed short films The Death of Don Quixote (Silver Melies winner at the 51st Sitges International Film Festival), and Calladita, which premiered at Palm Springs Shortfest.
He has written about cinema for Jot Down Magazine and Miradas de Cine, where he has published interviews with acclaimed directors like Pawel Pawlikowski, Olivier Assayas, François Ozon, Albert Serra, Terence Davies, Pedro Costa, Jaime Rosales, Isaki Lacuesta, Oliver Laxe... and others.
In 2021,Variety featured him as one of "10 On the Rise Cineastes from Spain".
